I am first and foremost a mother of two beautiful children. Rajah, 22, and Mira, 11, a wife to Andrew of 17 years, a dog owner to Stitch of 5 years, owner to 9 chickens and 2 ducks! I've been an athlete all my life, mostly focusing on competitive soccer and swimming, and played in several premier soccer leagues, leading up to a short college career before blowing out my knee.
After graduating from college, I spent most of my employment working at Sonora Sport and Fitness Center where I was a manager and coached Masters and competitive kids swimming, spin classes, and other general exercise classes.
After discovering CrossFit in 2008, the same year, I attended my first L-1 Seminar, where everything just "clicked" and I haven't looked back since. I was one of the first trainers to introduce CrossFit to Tuolumne County and started an affiliate at Sonora Sport and Fitness Center. After a couple of years, I joined forces with CrossFit Sonora and have been here ever since! I have attended 4 L-1 Seminars, a L-2 Seminar, a CrossFit Kids Seminar, an Olympic Weightlifting Seminar, and a Mobility Seminar.
One of the biggest things I love about CrossFit is that it truly is for anyone, infinitely scalable for all ages and abilities, and focuses on community building.
In 2014, I was hired by CrossFit, LLC, and have worked on the Affiliate Support team to the present day. Working on Affiliate Support is my full-time job so you won't see me on the coaching floor much these days, however, I am here every day working out with the community, and doing my best to live a healthy, happy life. One of which would NOT be the same without having CrossFit in my life.
